The BROOKLINE LIBRARY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (BLMA), founded in 1951, hosts six free concerts each season. This provides an opportunity for talented young artists to perform and for members of our community to hear them. The BLMA, one of the oldest library music programs in the country, is a distinguished part of Brookline Library’s cultural programs. It operates independently of the Library, is run by volunteers, and has 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
